About Elizabeth “Liz” Gibson, MSN, APRN, FNP-C
Elizabeth “Liz” Gibson, MSN, APRN, FNP-C is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner providing comprehensive dermatologic care at Integrated Dermatology of Tidewater in their Chesapeake office. She earned both her Master’s and Bachelor of Science in Nursing degrees from Old Dominion University.
Originally from North Carolina, Liz discovered her love for the Hampton Roads area while serving in the U.S. Navy. She brings over 14 years of diverse medical experience across military and civilian settings, with a particular passion for dermatology. Throughout her career, she has held progressive roles in dermatology, gaining extensive procedural and surgical expertise, including leadership and support roles in Mohs surgery and other dermatologic procedures. Most recently, Liz has provided autonomous dermatologic care in long-term and urgent care settings, where she founded a weekly dermatology screening clinic for high-risk geriatric patients. She is skilled in skin cancer detection, biopsies, cryotherapy, wound management, and procedural dermatology, delivering confident and compassionate care to patients of all ages.
Liz is licensed and certified in Virginia and provides medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatologic care at Integrated Dermatology of Tidewater. She lives in Oceanview with her husband and two young sons and enjoys spending time at the beach, fishing, kayaking, cheering at baseball games, exploring the outdoors with her family, and savoring a good cup of coffee.
