Aerolase Neo Treatments

Laser-based skin rejuvenation and dermatological protocols have been around for quite some time. Those early treatments often required multiple painful treatments, had limitations for treating darker skin tones and were effective only at treating only a relatively small number of skin conditions.

Thankfully, laser technology has evolved and the Aerolase Neo is one of the newest lasers on the market.

The Neo is an aesthetic medical laser that offers safe and easily tolerated treatments for many skin concerns for all skin types and tones. Treatments may be performed without any skin cooling, anesthetic, and even without the need to touch the skin.

Individual treatments typically only take between 10-60 minutes, and this laser is so gentle and effective that it requires NO DOWNTIME.

You can even schedule lunch-hour treatments and go right back to work! But we won’t tell your boss!

NeoSkin®

NeoSkin by Aerolase advances rejuvenation and tightening to new levels by enabling a comprehensive treatment to address tone and texture, redness, pigmentation, laxity, and other unwanted skin structures in a single treatment with a single device.

As skin ages there can be many changes that occur. The Neo’s unique technology is attracted to a combination of melanin, hemoglobin, and water in the skin tissue – which all contribute to your skin’s signs of aging.

Skin quality can worsen with enlarged pores, texture, and lax skin.  Unwanted conditions such as redness, veins, sun damage, and age spots may show up.

NeoSkin® protocols are effective at treating the following skin conditions:

Laser treatments are also a great way to extend the life of your Botox or Filler regimen and further improve the tone and texture of your skin.

NeoClear®

NeoClear® by Aerolase is highly safe, effective, and tolerable for all skin types, all ages, and all types of acne.

NeoClear® is a powerful acne treatment that eliminates the major factors causing acne including excess sebum production, inflammation, and the p. acnes bacteria.

Typically, many different treatments, medications, or skin care options are required to address these factors, but NeoClear®can achieve this with a single device.

NeoClear® is a special treatment as there are no side effects, is very comfortable for patients, and the results can be seen quickly – in as little as a single treatment.

NeoClear® treatments typically take between 10-30 minutes depending on the severity of acne and the size of the area affected (face, neck, chest, torso).

NeoClear® protocols are effective at treating the following skin conditions:

What happens during a treatment?

After a thorough cleansing to remove any trace of contaminants, oil or lotion on your skin one of our clinicians will use the Aerolase Neo wand to target the treatment area with a laser.

The wand never touches you, it hovers about an inch above the skin.

During treatment, you will feel only a mild, warming sensation. "No pain, no gain" is no more!

The Aerolase Neo uses the lowest level of heat necessary to achieve the desired results.

No more dry, itchy, or tender skin post-treatment associated with other lasers, no side effects, and no downtime … you’ll be able to resume your regular activities immediately after your appointment!

Aerolase Neo Treatment FAQs

Is it painful?

No, there is just a mild, very tolerable sensation of heat. This is one of the key technical breakthroughs of Aerolase technology! The LightPod Neo has set a new standard for virtually pain-free treatment, even on darker skin types, thanks to MicroPulse-1064 Technology.

Can it be used on dark skin?

Actually, the LightPod Neo is the safest laser in the industry for darker skin types or tanned skin. This is because of MicroPulse-1064 technology, which essentially eliminates treatment pain while minimizing the chances of hyper and/ or hypopigmentation.

Patients with skin types IV-VI should not be treated with on the face with high power using the 2mm lens as the risk of hyper and/or hypopigmentation is increased.

When can I expect to see an improvement in my acne?

Improvement may be seen anywhere from 4-8 weeks depending on the severity of the condition and the patient’s skin’s reaction to the therapy.

A patient's condition may worsen before it gets better. It is important to realize that there is no cure for acne, only maintenance, so further treatment may be required in the future.

Can it be used on acne scars?

Yes, during the normal course of acne treatment the laser light will also help to lessen any cratering or pockmarks caused by acne.

This is enabled by the laser light superheating the water within the skin’s dermis and helping rebuild and regrow both collagen and elastin, effectively helping smooth out any imperfections left behind from acne.

How does laser therapy work for rosacea?

The laser light destroys visible blood vessels or reduces extensive redness. The LightPod Neo laser emits pulses of light that target tiny blood vessels just under the skin.

Heat from the laser's energy builds in the vessels, causing them to disintegrate.

What happens after laser treatment for melasma?

Typically, melasma will slowly lighten over the course of the next few days to weeks as the pigmented area is slowly absorbed into the skin by your body’s natural healing process.

In some cases, the pigment will darken before becoming lighter. In the event that any crusting or scabbing occurs, it is important to always keep the area moist to reduce the risk of scarring.

Are you ready to rejuvenate your skin?

Age may just be a number, but the world sees your skin and it tells ALL your secrets.

It’s time to silence those fine lines, brown spots, and spider veins and improve your skin’s tone, texture, and tightness.
