About Michelle Selvaggi
Michelle Selvaggi is a certified Nurse Practitioner who joins our practice with over a decade of experience. Originally from Tampa, Florida, she has practiced exclusively in the field of dermatology since 2016.
Michelle has extensive training in medical and surgical dermatology. She utilizes dermoscopy routinely when performing total body skin exams for all skin types. She provides well-rounded care to her patients, with the ability to successfully diagnose and surgically treat localized skin cancers. She has substantial knowledge regarding dermatologic treatments for acute and chronic skin, hair, and nail conditions.
Michelle prioritizes making her patients feel more confident in their own skin. She specializes in full-face rejuvenation using neuromodulators, dermal fillers, and bio-stimulators to deliver aesthetically balanced results while maintaining high patient satisfaction. She emphasizes the importance of enhancing one's unique and natural beauty. She continues to travel quarterly to Sarasota, Florida, where she maintains a loyal cosmetic patient following.

Michelle obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing, graduating Magna Cum Laude from South University in 2011, and was inducted into the prestigious Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau. She began her career at Tampa General Hospital, on the pediatric unit where she had the privilege of caring for an array of pediatric patients with diverse diagnoses. Michelle expanded her knowledge base by later working on a Cardiac Interventional Unit, with adult cardiac patients. She continued to advance her education, receiving her Master of Science in nursing from the University of South Florida in 2015. She began her NP career in internal medicine, working with a hospitalist group in Tampa, treating acutely ill patients admitted to the hospital.
When not providing care for her patients, you can find her spending time with her husband, who is a physical therapist, and their two children. Michelle is passionate about leading a healthy lifestyle and thoroughly enjoys spending time outdoors and on the water. She is excited to plant roots in the Chesapeake area with her family and make a positive impact in the community.
