Cynthia Ferguson, MHS, PA-C specialized in medical and surgical dermatology. Ms. Ferguson received her Physician Assistant Certificate and Masters of Health Science from Duke University School of Medicine. She completed a surgical PA fellowship at Norwalk Hospital/Yale School of Medicine.
As a practicing physician assistant for twenty-two years Ms. Ferguson has dedicated greater than a decade to dermatology in private and academic medicine. Her areas of clinical interest include atopic dermatitis, ethnic skin disorders, preventative care, hair loss disorders and pediatric and adolescent dermatology
Ms. Ferguson has previously held a faculty appointment at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at the Boston campus. She currently holds an academic appointment at Eastern Virginia Medical School in the School of Health Professions in Norfolk, VA. She has had multiple publications in Dermatology and Emergency Medicine. She frequently lectures in her local community and regionally.
Ms. Ferguson is a native Virginian whose undergraduate alma mater in the College of William and Mary. She is an avid support of her athletic family sports activities.
