Recently, the American Academy of Dermatology developed a list of food and drink that can age your skin prematurely. The list includes: sweets, alcohol, white wine, charred meat, salty foods, and processed meats. While eating these foods in moderation will not age your skin overnight, over-indulgence can speed up the skin aging process. “What you eat affects your skin—for better or worse,” says Ariel Ostad, MD, a member of the AAD.
