When you arrive at our facility, here are the steps for all patients and appointments with a focus on today's post for the Full Body Skin Exam (FBSE).
Check-in with our Patient Care team.
They will check on current paperwork needs quickly processed with our wireless service, IDs scanned, insurance verified for new and existing patient changes.
With the wireless service, we are able to see patients when they are scheduled. During the 10-minute grace period for last minute circumstances, we will give a call to check if you need more time. We will schedule you in next opening area and/or lunchtime slot.
You will be called back to begin a health recap with the Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), be given a gown, if needed, and have you ready for the provider's exam. The FBSE requires a gown and undergarments stay. When ready, our provider will enter with an assistant and begin the health exam.
Our eDerm system is connected to the healthcare doctors and pharmacies in Virginia and United States.
The CMA scribes and supports the exams generating the visit note and scripts to be sent via eFax to your PCP and pharmacy for the update. For private areas, the providers are able to examine without an assistant, however, will be documenting the exam as well, extending the process with care. The CMA assists the providers with the biopsies and surgeries throughout the day, as well as, injections and removing stitches.
We are passionate about your health and with our healthcare tools and services we are able to provide comprehensive treatment. Our Full Body Skin Exam, is a signature head-to-toe service scanning, detecting, and testing for suspicious patches and moles.
As a well-oiled machine with a wireless visit, we maximize every minute we have with you to have your time be as important as ours. We will email and/or internally fax your prescriptions, call with results as soon as they are in, and field all questions and concerns with a sense of urgency and ease.
We prioritize your skin health conditions based on medical needs with time in between for healing and treating.
All skin, hair, and nail details are documented and addressed in medical importance with additional visits scheduled to ensure skin safety.
