Meet Physician Assistant Certified in Dermatology Cynthia Ferguson

We are happy to welcome Cynthia Ferguson, MHS, PA-C to the Integrated Dermatology Team. Cynthia specializes in treating hair loss, atopic dermatitis, and skin of color conditions.  Ms. Ferguson received her Physician Assistant Certificate and Masters of Health Science from Duke University School of Medicine completing a Surgical PA fellowship at Norwalk Hospital/Yale School of Medicine.  

Ms. Ferguson is a native of Virginia whose undergraduate alma mater is the College of William and Mary.  In 2008, Cynthia returned from teaching and clicnical practice in Massachusetts beginning her academic appointment at Eastern Virginia Medical School in the School of Health Professions.  She has been an avid supporter of her athletic family sports activities.  

Ms. Ferguson held a faculty appointment at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at the Boston Campus at the rank of Assistant Professor in the Masters of Physician Assistant program. As a practicing physician assistant for twenty-one years with nearly a decade dedicated to dermatology in private and academic medicine, Cynthia's areas of clinical interest include ethnic skin disorders, preventative care, pediatric, and adolescent dermatology.  Dr. Schreiber is thrilled to have Ms. Ferguson's expertise be a vital addition to our clinical facility.
